Robert Singh
Robert Singh’s path to counseling grew from a deep curiosity about why people think and behave the way they do, along with genuine empathy for those experiencing pain and hardship. He finds the human mind fascinating and enjoys helping clients identify the barriers preventing them from living with greater freedom, fulfillment, and peace.
Robert welcomes clients from all backgrounds and especially enjoys working with adults as they navigate the different seasons and transitions of adulthood. He has experience helping clients address substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and other life challenges.
His counseling style is relaxed, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Clients can expect a welcoming space where they can explore their thoughts and emotions openly while remaining focused on meaningful progress. Robert primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Through these approaches, he helps clients understand what they want to change, identify what is motivating that change, and develop practical tools for adjusting unhelpful patterns.
Robert’s goal is to help clients build greater self-awareness and use the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for lasting change.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys training his dog, hiking, and trying new restaurants with friends. He is also an experienced runner who has completed two full marathons and more than a dozen half marathons.
